I arrived to this hotel by chance. I wanted to go to Preveli beach from Rethymno. There was not enough time to go back to Rethymno so I ended up staying in Mirthio village at Stefanos hotel for one night. I could not have done a better choice for the price: big room and bathroom, both spotlessly clean with a balcony with view to a lush garden and the wonderful sea. They even had a pool and sunbeds but why stay by the pool when you have the sea so close. Despite this minor inconvenience I have enjoyed the one day spent in Mirthio and I would definitely come back.

Great Location, near a few excellent tavernas and some wonderful beaches and mountains. Great communication with the host. Meraki appartments is a complex of appartments on the very top of the village of Myrthios. The views are stunning overlooking the village and the sea bay. We stayed in Lena appartment, which was well equipped and very nicely refurbished. The outdoor terrace was an amazing feature and having bedrooms on the ground floor as opposed on the top floor (where they would be exposed to the sun) is an excellent touch. I specifically enjoyed the fact that the access to the appartment is via code = keyless. All windows have bug nets.
