Nikolaos is a very friendly host. We arrived late due to a flight delay, but he waited for us, welcomed us and had great recommendations for restaurants. The apartment is super cozy and just a few minutes walk to Knossos Palace. We stayed one night and felt very comfortable!

I loved the Old Town location, particularly the picturesque old properties, the street art and the community cats! It was within easy walking distance to a market, some great restaurants and the cathedral and from there it was just a step to the port. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe at all times.

We stayed at this hotel in Heraklion, and overall, we had a positive experience. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and cozy. The rooms were impeccably tidy, and the staff was friendly and always ready to help. Their attentive service truly made our stay much more enjoyable.
However, the location was a bit disappointing. The area where the hotel is situated isn’t very picturesque, and there isn’t much to do in the city itself. If you’re planning to explore the surroundings, this might be something to consider.
The breakfast also fell short of expectations – the selection was limited, and the quality of the food didn’t impress. Despite this, it didn’t significantly detract from our overall experience.
In conclusion, the hotel’s cleanliness and the excellent service from the staff made our stay a pleasant one.
