The apartment we stayed at was roomy yet very cosy, and spotlessly clean, so we felt right at home. It is furnished to comfortably accommodate families of up to six people, with plenty of beds, sofas, and two large dinner tables (one in the main room, one in the winter garden), plus a terrace area with outside seating, beach chairs, and swinging chairs. The kitchen is well-equipped (stove, oven, microwave, large fridge, kettle), providing enough plates, cutlery, and utensils to allow cooking your own meals (or ordering in without having to eat straight out of the containers). Clotheslines on the porch make it easy to dry beach towels and bathing suits over night. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked flawlessly. Soap, shampoo, towels, and extra blankets are provided. For guests travelling with children, there are ample toys available for all ages, including board games. There are several apartments on the property, but they are generously spaced, so each of them is nicely secluded. Parking is right outside. The surrounding area is quiet, peaceful, and—according to the host—absolutely safe (which matches our experience). A 5-minute drive gets you to the beach. Communication with the host, George, was swift and easy. Ahead of our stay, he made sure we would have no trouble finding the place, and was very accommodating regarding the check-in time. When we arrived, he welcomed us with open arms and fresh fruit (of which he provided more the next day!), showed us around the apartment and property, and helped us settle in. George is one of the warmest, most hospitable people we have had the pleasure of encountering during our journeys. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable about the area (his beach recommendation was spot-on), and happy to make his guests’ stay as pleasant and special as possible, always with a smile. The staff is amazing. Excellent breakfast and very quiet and safe area.

The host was well organized and responded to all of my needs and questions. Unfortunately hadn’t met them in person as I came very late and checked out early in the morning but Iro has accomodated my stay perfectly. The apartment is very nicely decorated with traditional decor, everything very functional and adapted even for a longer stay. The port is very close, walking distance to the port (around 7-10 minutes), so it’s great if you need to catch the ferry to the islands. Very easy check-in/check-out (with the key in the locker) as I requested it. The apartment is immaculately clean and the bed in the master bedroom is perfect (next time i’ll try the others too!!)Had the best sleep in my life. Thanks Iro. I’ll come back!

Simple access, clearly communicated.

Very flexible check-in/check-out, which is convenient if flying late. The room was clean and well furnished, you can have a simple breakfast with the few things in the room or get some pastries in a very good bakery nearby.
