We absolutely loved staying in Khulo at Guest House Karati - so much so that we extended our stay. It has been a real highlight of our trip to Georgia so far. The family are utterly charming: so kind and friendly, and we loved playing table tennis with everyone on our final night. The owners insisted on giving us lifts to and from Khulo town even though we were happy to walk.
The breakfast and home made dinner were fantastic: fresh, tasty, almost entirely home grown/made (including the wine), and very reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed the home made Adjarian specialities including Sinori.
The house is in a beautiful setting, high up on the valley side outside Khulo. We would recommend that anyone stay here if they plan to visit Adjara. Thank you!
