Tango and Manana the old couple who host this place are very homely and caring. Although we didn’t understand each other’s language but still managed to communicate well. I bought a home made wine from them for just Gel 10. Manana gave me some nice salad, cheese and bread with it all on the house. Property can be easily reached from the Boulevard by walking.

I was breaking up the long drive between Tbilisi and Mestia and was just looking for a place to stay. This is the best location because it is right across the river from where the van drops you off and right across from the area where you get the bus for Mestia. The hotel staff were pleasant and the hotel was very clean for a great price. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to or from Tbilisi/Mestia.

The place was very clean, there are two shared bathrooms and a good kitchen. The hosts were very kind and gracious, they let us leave our bags for quite a while when we went to the mountains and they refused payment for storage. 10-15 minute walk to Mestia bus and other bus/rail stations. Very close to main park which is beautiful.
