Loads to like about it. Really helpful, friendly host with lots of good advice. Brilliant quiet location but an easy drive to Hay (for the Festival). Very comfortable, spacious and nicely appointed. House it was attached to was in the Domesday Book. Welsh cakes and water bottles were much appreciated.

The dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The location was great - the town was charming - and the walk along the Wye River was lovely. Our hosts, Tony and Wendy were very friendly and helpful - helping us find accomodations in Snowdonia for the following day. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

The room was beautiful 😍 The room had a fan which I was super glad of as it was a hot day. Clean, airy, very nice bathroom. Good shower 🚿 very quiet location. Tony and Wendy are very hospitable, very friendly hosts. The food was very very good 👍 They catered for all my allergies and I was super grateful 🙏 as I've got a few and it can be tricky at some establishments. Thank you 😊

Gorgeous property. Really comfortable. Walking into the living quarters upstairs is genuinely like coming home. Location is great too, short drive to Hay On Wye, and Hereford is only 30 mins away too. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

The lodge was very clean and comfortable. Had full kitchen facilities which made it feel very homely. The hot tub was nice and cosy even more so with the cold nights we had throughout our stay

The location was fine for my purposes, but is also ideally placed for anyone touring the area. Excellent location on a main route, so easy to find without being deafened by passing traffic. The room I had was absolutely excellent in every way - much better than others that are more expensive and less attractively located. Huge, fresh cooked breakfast and the evening meals in the pub area are generous and fine value. Tony and Wendy are great hosts.
