The location was great, very quiet and picturesque. Sharon and Graham are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Lots of varied walks right from the doorstep. Good pubs nearby within walking distance. The chocs and wine were much appreciated as was the milk in the fridge for a cuppa when we arrived.!

    Everything! A beautiful place to stay, looking out over the South Downs. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and cosy and the location was perfect. At any time of day it was lovely to sit and watch the horses or the pheasants in the next field; it was so peaceful and relaxing. Val and David were very friendly and suggested places to eat and visit and we walked along the old coach road and into Alfriston which is definitely worth a visit. Our dog also had the best time.

    A stunning location and super friendly hosts. Very quiet at night and absolutely no noise or light pollution. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Well located for hikers or those wanting to explore the area by car.

    The purpose of our stay was a stop off while walking The South Downs Way. It was a good a location as not too far off the trail The village had an interesting history with medieval buildings and was very pretty. We had an economy room which was basic but pleasant and comfortable with a nice sized bathroom.

    Very clean room with en suite in a quiet location. Our room was one of their smaller rooms located to the side of the main building with it's own private entrance. It was a decent size and well.mainrained with decent storage and a microwave which came in handy. There is a garden area available for guests to use. The breakfast at an additional £10 pp was freshly cooked and a good portion size. The hosts were friendly and helpful.
