The house was lovely, lots of room to sit on very comfy sofas! Love the bright conservatory. The garden looked lovely, and our dogs enjoyed it. The beds were really comfy. Rosena was the best host! Really easy to contact and happy to answer any questions. The house is in a good location, it is in the town and the estate is quiet. We didn't find parking an issue, although it is just on street parking. The house itself is quirky. Lots of artwork and decorations.

We booked and owner Claire was in touch to ask with my requirements if any. I requested microwave which was kindly provided. Upon arrival I was given nice & clear instructions for shelf check-in. All good. We had nice few chats with owner couple Claire and Neil about things to do around as our trip was not so preplanned. We followed their instructions and visited places around and enjoyed. Room and facility itself was clean and we tried to kept it clean as well -:) bathroom looked newly refurbished but one issue was of extractor fan needed to be on to keep drainage smell sway. May be manageble change owners can take care of. Bed mattress was different than what we used to use at home so bit of awkward side but not owners fault. But clean though. Breakfast I did enjoyed all 3 mornings.very Good overall experience and would definitely book it again and visit the nice couple Claire and Neil again. While we checked in, Neil even helped us taking luggage back to car. Very kind. Parking facility behind the hotel is very good. I would definitely recommend the hotel to tourists and travellers of beautiful Brecon Beacon area of Wales.

Friendly helpful staff, location in a quiet welsh coal mining town. The room was good, but no WiFi signal in the room. Really good breakfast included.

The staff were so welcoming and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The bed was fantastic and very comfortable and the breakfast each morning was delicious. When the locals come to the pub downstairs in the evening, the venue has a warm and lively feeling to it and all of the locals were very welcoming and happy to talk to us and give us recommendations. The venue is also in an ideal location for treks up into the Brecon Beacons.

Convenient location, which although tucked away amidst housing was actually easy to find. The staff were welcoming on arrival and parking was available directly outside. The room itself was spacious, clean and the bed surprisingly comfortable (much better than the expected much too soft beds many hotel seem to use). Great shower and very clean throughout.

Very clean, tidy rooms. We use as a stopover on our way to Mid-Wales but this would be a great location to stay to travel & explore South Wales. Really tasty veggie breakfast. Really friendly staff, who also went above and beyond to help us when our car broke down in their car park - we were so very grateful for their help.

Fantastic stay - friendly staff, comfortable, spotlessly clean room, comfortable beds, tasty breakfasts (including vegetarian for me). Would be great location as a base for exploring Beacons & Pen-y-fan, though we were just passing through breaking up a longer journey. Will definitely return.

It was very clean even for my clean obsessive wife and room was in very good condition with hair dryer. Lovely breakfast. Hotel ideal for having a place where to sleep and visiting the Brecon Beacon. Staff was very friendly. Pub is visited by local people which make pleasant. Room was cleaned every day with clean towels provided. Overall it was excellent bearing in mind that it is not a luxury accommodation or hotel.
