The house is excellent, stunning views and very spacious and clean, with a lovely garden and right next to a beautiful wood (famous for bluebells) where we ran every morning. The location is great for exploring Cardiff and local sights, and the owner was really helpful. She let us stay a little later on the Saturday so we could do the local park run before we left! We would recommend and would stay again.

We didn’t book breakfast but wished we had. The location is beautiful the manor is very regal. I felt like royalty. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating they looked for a place for us to eat in town, when I mentioned my booking had fallen though. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family and hope to visit again soon.

The location is magnificent, overlooking the lowlands toward Cardiff in the distance. The property has a green vista, with paddocks and copses of trees filling the middle distance. The building itself is stately, and in good weather there are chairs, tables and a glassed-in area outside from which to enjoy the vista. Inside, the building has an old-world charm with tall ceilings and stately appointments. Our room was large, well furnished and comfortable with a large en suite. The windows in the bedroom revealed the view towards Cardiff. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and the service was great. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome.
