it is convenient for our purpose and comfortable and pleasant enough. Other than that the cottage is not that inspiring and I wouldn't discribe it as having a lovely atmosphere. There are some nice walks along the River Ribble a short drive away.

The whole experience of staying at Ribble Heights Holiday Lodge was absolutely perfect.
Upon booking we quickly received an email from the host with information about how we would be able to access the lodge.
The day before our stay the host sent us videos about how to navigate the twists and turns if the park leading to our particular lodge. For someone like me, who had a terrible sense of direction, this was brilliant as it enabled us to find the lodge on the first attempt. The instructions about how to access the lodge were also really clear.
The Lodge itself was absolutely beautiful. Decorated so nicely... definitely a home from home feel. The entire lodge was absolutely spotless and all bedding and towels were included. The area around the lodge is very peaceful, with beautiful views. We were lucky enough to have brilliant weather so it was lovely to sit out on the balcony at all times of day and evening.
We stayed at the Lodge for two nights as a couple however this would be more than suitable for a family. There is plenty of space and plenty of storage space as well.
Everything you could need was avaliable. The appliances were all of a high quality and well looked after.
My partner and I travel a lot and use various properties/air b&b's. I can honestly say that this was the best property we have stayed in. The host has thought of absolutely everything.
For me personally, one thing I really liked was that cleaning products were left avaliable. If you're staying for more than a couple of days, this is perfect to keep the place fresh.

The cottage is beautiful but tiny - if you're tall watch some of the doorways! Location is fab with the bakery just round the corner and one of the local pubs a stones throw. We were visiting family who lived in the village but can imagine if you're there for walks there'd be plenty. It's very hilly locally so don't expect a flat stroll anywhere.
I didn’t meet the hosts but everything was as expected, lovely property and location. Will look forward to booking here again for a nice short break away

Very good location, cosy inside and ideal for families however stairs risky for little ones. No problem for a couple of nights stay though. Great parking and in quite location. Beds very comfy and bedrooms nicely decorated.
Location is great, nice little place. Cute cottage which is larger than it appears from the outside. Very clean. Everything you need is provided. Beds are very comfy.
