Staff were very attentive no food available however gave us information on local takeaways and gave us plates/cutlery and napkins.
Room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for 1 night only. Even gave us an extra heater if required.
Pub served a selection of drinks and was very welcoming with plenty of seating for a Saturday evening.
Carpark was roomy.

Firstly Trevor is one of the nicest people I’ve met he gave us a call to see how our journey was going and when we arrived he showed us around and made us feel welcome and comfortable instantly. The property is amazing the attention to detail is top and everything was immaculate and the location is amazing as you are not too far away from anything but you still get the retreat private feel. 100% will be coming back there and the complimentary beers and Prosecco was much appreciated.

Location. It was so quiet, it was so nice to sit outside and listen birds. There was option to grill or make little fire to sit outside. Host was lovely, showed what is what and how things work.
Kaye (the host) was really nice and welcoming. The breakfast was good; simple but wholesome. The location was lovely. It is close to the flight path but I really didn't notice after a bit. Loved the fire pit! The bed was very comfortable and the room cosy with the heater on. Everything was very well thought out. If you're looking for a five-star hotel, this is not for you, but I had a really great time and would definitely visit again.
Nothing was too much trouble for Craig and his team, I have stayed here before, some years ago. ideal location for Stanstead Airport. Stanstead in future, I will book the Yew Tree again.
Stayed here as we needed to be at Stansted airport. Location is really good for the airport as only 15 mins away. The hotel was fantastic, lovely comfortable room (outside lodge/courtyard type). Very comfy bed, perfect shower, spotless clean. Huge carpark. The hotel bar was just perfect and having a real log fire was great. Lady running the hotel was lovely and very friendly.
Quiet location, shower gel, shampoo supplied in small bottles, cheapish!! Hot shower, small bed but comfortable, manager was very nice via text! Great shower head!
