On arrival I was greeted by the owner who showed me around and introduced me to the chickens and other little animals. I had a nice little hamper set up and waiting for me with fresh eggs and porridge and some treats for my little puppy. I had a very stress-free break there and everything I needed was provided. I extended my stay for a further 4 days

The second time I've stayed here. Great location for local marinas. The rooms are exceptional for a 'pub/restaurant' and are very clean, comfortable and with lovely toiletries to use.

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The room had everything I needed - well designed bathroom, coffee maker, hair dryer and desk. The car park was a good size. The location was ideal for a holiday in south central England. The pub part of the hotel had service and good food/drink. There was plenty to appreciate.

This is perfect for a short stay to explore The area. The river is just behind the location Which has a lovely walk. It's clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet. I have issues sleeping where there is noise and I slept fine. The host was welcoming and overall it was ideal for my stay. I advise getting drinks from the Next door pub and enjoying sitting by the pool. Overall very good value for money.
