This was our second visit and Gary, the host , had responded to my feedback and there was a lovely mirror put in the studio and screens put up in the garden for more privacy! Amazingly responsive 😀it’s such lovely accommodation- great for summer and winter retreats.

The location is near the Harry Potter studios which made the stay amazing. It is a 40 minutes walk from the studios and 25 minutes walk from the local Co op. Breakfast, lunches and drinks were good too at the restaurant.

Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Had left milk for tea and biscuits. Everywhere was clean, decor lovely.
There was an issue with the radiator which was being fixed on arrival which did not affect our stay at all. The hosts were in for less than 10 minutes. However we arrived back later that evening to flowers, wine and cake for the inconvenience. Honestly was not an issue but the thought really was kind and went a long way. Thank you !!!

we stayed for 3 nights and it was a perfect. The property is right around the corner from watford high street station which is 20mins into central London. We walked 15 minutes to Watford junction station where we picked up the Harry Potter free shuttle bus. A short walk from the property are lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and also the shopping centre where there's a cinema and climbing centre. The property was quiet and the kids loved the park across the road and the cinema room. They're all asking to go back again. Loved it.

The room I had originally booked was not available, which resulted in the hotel upgrading us to a much larger room… perfect! All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Charming pub with very friendly staff. Comfortably sized rooms which had clean linen, good shower and the usual necessities such as hairdryer, iron, tv etc. Breakfast was very nicely cooked and tasty. A quiet location which was ideal for us.

the location was great, just fifteen minutes away from the Harry Potter tour. Everywhere is SPOTLESS. The restaurant is next to the hotel and serves good affordable food. Even though the rooms are next to the pub/restaurant it’s very quiet. But what really makes this place are the staff, they are brilliant. Really friendly, helpful and great with our Grandchildren (two very excited 8 year olds). We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.
The location was ideal for my purpose. The room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable, but the mattress was thin... Breakfast was included. The pub is on the village green and is a lovely country pub. It's inexpensive and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and I would recommend it.
