Very comfortable bed. Great facilities and location near St Ives and Cambridge - very quick to drive to either locations. Very lovely host who allowed us an exception for a late checkout. Breakfast was hearty and very tasty - set us up well for the day of travel we had ahead.

Nice spacious rooms and felt clean and well kept.
The baby gate for the stairs was great. I felt really safe letting my baby roam the apartment, too. The selection of shampoos and conditioners and body wash made it really convenient.

The property is situated in a beautiful location and a great deal of attention has been given to the high quality accommodation. Breakfast was perfect and we would definitely choose to stay here again without any hesitation.
The location is perfect for visiting the area and surrounding places, ideal for going on walks and seeing the local area, with pubs in close proximity. The rooms are lovely and comfy.
First class accommodation in a peaceful location. In view of the current situation with Covid, social contact was kept to a minimum, but this didn't prevent Maria from being the perfect host albeit by text message.

An generous continental breakfast was brought to our room at spot on our chosen time, comprising hot toast, fresh fruit and yogurt, assorted cereals, orange juice and ample fresh milk.

The location of the lodge was ideal for us, we were in the area visiting family in Hemmingford Grey, lovely quiet village near the busier and lively St Ives. The room was spacious and clean, staff very accommodating and helpful.
There a nearby pub serving meals in and outdoors (The Cock) and also the Axe and Compass in Hemmingford Abbots serves excellent food.
The breakfast was continental delivered to the room, it was very tasty and contained lots of fresh fruit, cereals, toast, jams etc.
