Truly a lovely vacation home. Quiet, clean, with secure parking and beautiful surroundings. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the house was fully kitted out with everything one would need. We only stayed one night, but will plan to stay longer next time we're in the area. Excellent value for money.

Very accommodating staff. We needed a place to put our bicycles and they were able to help us. Food was good and the breakfast was more than we could eat. Close to the water so an easy walk. If you are using Google to find the location it takes you to the wrong place. It is a little further down the road.

Exceptionally clean. I was particularly pleased that NO DOGS were allowed. I suffer from dog hair allergy and this was very important to me that no dogs were allowed on the premises. Many hotels ignore this and do not consider guests who would rather not be in a room where dogs have been.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
I booked a suite in error but the room was nice and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was of good quality both evening meal and breakfast.
Location is good for access to the rest of East Lothian and Edinburgh (X7 bus from High Street).
Very clean and comfortable accommodation in a lovely quiet location. Extremely well appointed cottage with lovely views over the countryside. Would have no hesitation in booking again.
Ideal location for my golfing trip.
Staff were very nice
Breakfast was delicious
I loved the golf decoration
Seemed like a nice pub environment, although I don’t drink.
The location was ideal for us and we have in fact used the hotel before for meals when heading North to South. Parking is never a problem and the town's Main Street is only two minutes away, but it is very quiet there.
The setting/ location. We came by bus for a relaxing break and it was ideal for that. Peaceful, tranquil riverside walks on the doorstep, but regular bus transport to Edinburgh a short walk away.
The cooked breakfast was freshly made to order.
Communication from the hosts was excellent, the apartment itself was excellent very clean and furnished to a high and personal standard. The location is ideal for visiting the beautiful coastline and only 19 miles from Edinburgh.
