Breakfast was perfect. Simple and high quality ingredients. The room was spacious with two beds. Decoration was very tasteful and cozy. We were the only guests so the stay was very exclusive. Location is also very beautiful at the countryside but still close to a bigger city. Pamela was very sweet and helpful.

We loved our stay at Elagh Cottages. Karen was really friendly and helpful and the cottage was very nicely done, so we felt comfortable straight away. I loved the muted tones and unfussy feel, and with the big doors looking out, it made the space feel really spacious and open. Great settees and beds, and such a quiet spot - we slept so well. It had everything we needed. Even though it's self catering, there was milk, tea, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, shower wash, etc., provided. The shower was great, nice big fluffy towels, and everything was spotless and clean. The views were amazing, as were the donkey visits right outside the door. This is a great spot for visits to Derry and the Inishowen peninsula. Wild Ireland is just minutes away - we think its a "must do" place to go (we spent 4 hours there!). I'd highly recommend Elagh Cottages as a great place to stay if you're planning a trip to the area. We'll definitely book there again on our next trip there. Thanks Karen! 😊❤️

The quality of the fixtures and fittings are top notch. You tube, Netflix Prime all included which is great as normal TV is pointless! The owners obviously have high standards, the communication for check in was immediate via text, the cleaners were genuinely friendly so again, the owners high standards are everywhere. Little nice touch with 2 bottles of water in the fridge as walking up the hills certainly requires rehydrating, definitely coming back.

Spotlessly clean, cosy, well equipped house. Very comfortable living room and bedrooms. Great location - Close to Derry City and many lovely forest walks. Only a short drive to Donegal and fabulous beaches. Bevin, our host, was very friendly and helpful. Could not fault a thing with this stay!
Al who owns the property is a most remarkable person and interesting to talk to. The property is a "work in process" and still needs some development, so if you are looking luxury, then however all I needed was a place to sleep. It was very cheap price and considering that, good for the money. However Al is always willing to help. Very convenient to the village and short drive to the city.
The location was excellent. The property was within 3 minute walking time to supermarket, pub and take-a-ways. Host was very friendly and helpful. Property was comfortable and had good wi-fi.
