This inn is exceptional, it is set in a beautiful village with a lovely atmosphere and history. The staff were most welcoming and the room and bed were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast menu was varied and tasty. My wife and I enjoyed a very delicious dinner of perfectly cooked steak. Would recommend this inn as a great place to stay.

This is a lovely pub with friendly staff. We arrived much later than planned, but Bernard was there to greet us. The room was perfect, and the beds were very comfy! Breakfast was great and exactly what we needed to start the day. We will definitely be coming back again!

Such a lovely hand finished lodge- every detail was well thought out. The host was so helpful - guiding us to a wonderful local restaurant in Uppingham and chatting about her farming journey. If we are in the area again we certainly would stay again.

Really great location for exploring Rutland Water. Emma was so lovely and welcoming. The place is very secure which was great as we had young children with us. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stunning views from the little balcony, lovely location, so peaceful, we loved seeing the lambs and other animals. So clean and beautifully decorated, I think I’d like to move in!! The owners were so helpful and accommodating.
