Poppy was an incredible host - She was speedy in her communications and provided a lot of details on the self-checkin process, which I enjoyed as it gave us a lot of flexibility on arrival time. Everything was clear and simple. The apartment was modern, clean, and spacious, and had everything we needed. It was also located right at the heart of the town, and we were able to walk around easily.

Very basic room, but as expected. The bedding was clean and was supplied with fresh clean towels throughout the week. Landlady happy to supply plates and cutlery for food etc. Location and price was ideal for the reason for our trip.

We just wanted an inexpensive bed for the night close to where we needed to be. It was spotlessly clean and our expectations were met. Bar staff very friendly.

Dainty little room, pretty decor and spotlessly clean. Staff told us it was a converted stable. Perfect for budget accommodation. Use of picnic table outside our room was also lovely. Tea/Coffee facilities were better than some more expensive hotels we previously stayed in. Also added bonus having our own front door. Myself and my husband were walking the Pilgrims Way, so the Wheatsheaf ticked all our boxes. Would highly recommend.
