The staff are friendly, a warm welcome awaits as you check in, rooms are beautiful, bathrooms fabulous, quite a unique hotel with a lot of character, but that does not mean dated, everything was lovely and well maintained, a modern feel, spotlessly clean, beautiful bar and dining areas - great views, food is excellent including breakfasts. You don't need to be a resident to pop in for a lovely cup of coffee or pot of tea, (and beer during licensing hours) and cakes available from mid morning in the bar area. Lovely outlook and patio area and outdoor seating in the warmer months - The Hotel is about a 100metres from the ferry terminal, so you could come over as a foot passenger, there is a bus service around the island (check times) though. I loved it - Thank you shout out to receptionist Lucie who made me feel most welcome, as well as the dining staff, bar staff and cleaners who worked tirelessly keeping everything spotless.

Didn't have breakfast. It's a youth hostel, so my expectations weren't high. Not really a hotel.

Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Beautiful location over looking the firth of Clyde staff very helpful and caring rooms were very spacious and comfortable very clean clean bathroom and a very good shower myself and my girlfriend eat in the hotel on Saturday night and the food was beautiful plenty of choices. We had the breakfast the mornings and there is plenty to choose from great selection. Overall the hotel was 10 out of 10.
This is one of the very few options im Blackwaterfoot. Lovely location and convenient enough to have a bus stop in front of the hotel.
Sue has been a wonderful receptionist, attending to my concerns and queries.
The restaurant isn't cheap, but it is fairly priced given its quality.
the location on the island is ideal- at least for us. We travelled around and had opportunities to walk in the locality to the best neolithic sites.
The kitchen was exceptional and it had everything; even a wine cooler fridge & a multi USB charge point
Certainly a place to return to, the hosts were friendly, welcoming and most helpful particularly when the ferry home was cancelled.
Well equipped, spotlessly clean, great location, very comfortable. LOVED the Arran aromatics toiletries - they were my favourite scent! Parking was easy. Owner was very responsive.
