We are a retired couple traveling by bicycle. Chloe and Frank were incredibly warm and welcoming. Chloe took time to help us store our bikes and become familiar with the property, gave us a jar of homemade apricot jelly (delicious; we ate all of it), and even gave us a tour of the castle she and Frank are renovating down the lane. The villa is amazing: spacious, comfortable, decorated with quirky period style, and equipped with everything we needed for our three-day stay. The location is quiet, rural yet close to amenities, and wonderful. We had planned one day to visit Romans-sur-Isere and one day to explore the area. Chloe suggested the Palais Ideal, built by postmaster Joseph Cheval in Hauterives, about 25 kilometers away. We loved the palais and even more the bike ride there and back. The area is perfect for cycling and hiking and just relaxing. Chloe and Frank are perfect hosts. We highly recommend both.

A very comfortable and well run hotel. The standard of interior decor was excellent with some extremely well chosen individual art pieces. We were made very welcome by the owner when we arrived. The room was generous in size and spotlessly clean with a good bathroom. The pool was most welcome on a hot day and breakfast superb. I would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel and hope to return one day.
