Le Lachens indeed turned out to be a real gem in the middle of almost nowhere:) An extremely friendly, cosy and welcoming family-run hotel with clean and comfy rooms, big ensuit bathrooms, good buffet breakfast with a very decent selection. A surprise dinner is worth a separate mentioning! We ordered 7 dishes to share between 2, not knowing what it would be before it was served (however, we could warn beforehand about the food we don't eat) - a complete choice of the chef. All our doubts disappeared once we were served absolutely lovely and delicious sets of entrees, main dish, cheese plate and desert - apparently all the cheeses were produced by the local farmers. We never regretted ordering this surprise dinner, and guessing the ingredients of the dishes was an additional fun! Highly recommended!
