A very spacious home with everything you need to enjoy a pleasant stay. Airconditioning in the bedrooms and very comfortable beds. Shutters for the windows to keep the house cool and early morning light out of the bedrooms. Very large pool and garden, natural shade under large old trees in the garden. Private. Walking distance from the bakery and supermarket. Very convenient! Our host Sonia was very welcoming and super helpful. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine from her friends vineyard.

It is a beautiful building thoroughly modernised. My room was lovely and very clean with all the facilities you would expect. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

The Gite is just perfect, beautiful & well equipped with everything you need for a long or short break.

A tranquil location with front patio area & back garden area with seats, bbq & stunning views over the vinyards, you'll have somewhere to catch the sun morning to evening.
We absolutely LOVED our stay here, we were so relaxed, ate, drank local wine, sat outside & just enjoyed listening to.....nothing but nature, it's fabulous location.
Perfect place to relax in peace yet only 5km from Blaye where there is lots to do, plenty of eateries & shops for those essentials.
Blaye is surrounded by many vinyards you can cycle or drive too.
Blaye also has the ferry port that takes you across the estuary that takes you to the Medoc.
We used this when cyclng to Pauillac/Medoc.
The gite is 50km from Bordeaux & 52km from Saint Emilion.

Excellent property, the most comfortable and enjoyable stay we have had on our world trip so far. The location was good, being not far from the motorway in a small village with atmosphere. The location had the potential to be pleasant, by a lake, and the staff were nice. We happened to stay on the night of a live band and it was a lovely spot to listen to live music, drink wine, and eat out by the lake.

Location - set in a small quiet village, the proprietors were very welcoming and friendly and the hotel retained the personal touch as described in the booking - hence selecting it for our stay. It also offered good access to main motorway for our onward journey.
Lovely little hotel. Room was compact but spotless and the staff were very accomodating, friendly and keen to help in any way possible. Also a very good price for what was provided. Good location too, a few minutes walk to the town centre.
The resturant and garden stand out here. The food quality is very high and garden and resturant very pretty. The staff are fantastic and very friendly and professional. The rooms are very, very basic and tired but the bed is comfortable and all is clean. Great for an overnight stop for a tired driver and her dog to just get their heads down on the way through. Quiet location and easy parking not far from the motorway. Would stay again - for the food and treatment.

Staff was very welcoming ! THe hotel is very quiet. The room had air conditionning and was decorated with taste. The mattress was very confortable.
Lovely to have a dinner in the garden, sitting under the trees. The local wine recommended by our hostess was excellent and the chef came out to speak with us.
Breakfast was also in the garden with fresh viennoiseries, fresh fruit, bread, cereal, juice, coffee/tea.

Really good location and great for dogs. Nice lake and garden area for walking and also dogs in the restaurant which was open on a Sunday evening too. Rooms are very clean but basic. But recent upgrades to bathrooms are very good. It looks strange from outside but through the arch is all really good and value for money. Some English is spoken and restaurant does excellent meal.
