This was the second time I’d stayed here and the setting is absolutely stunning. For someone travelling solo there is so much available within the vicinity such as restaurants, bars, spa, pool etc. The staff are always very professional and friendly and the rooms are gorgeous.

We chose the location because it was close to Cognac. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit and jams. The room was clean and the besd was comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

What a super little place! Les Pilotis is a very special stay. Although we could have stayed on an emplacement in our camper we chose one of the lovely chalets with its own little garden. Beautiful warm pool and spa facilities (sauna/hot tub). Our hosts Frank and Martine could not have been more helpful. Quiet pretty countryside but an easy bike ride into Cognac.

Apart from slight problem with key code - call answered immediately and updated code worked - we were very impressed with the studio accommodation. Everything you could need for a short stay was available and very cleverly arranged to make the most of the space. Bathroom and shower modern and well appointed. Location was brilliant to walk down into the town and we felt very much at home. Highly recommended
