Ma Maison Fleurie is such a wonderful quiet little hideaway!! We were only there the night before our flight but I wish we could have stayed a week! The apartment is so clean and cosy, with beautiful dishes and great cooking implements, perfect if you like to do some of your own cooking during your stay. There is a section of the yard/garden for guests, and you can eat meals al fresco or sit and enjoy the views of the trees and distant mountains. The hosts are incredibly friendly and very responsive, and we had a delicious breakfast including jams homemade by Alzira! It's a great location to explore the countryside east of Lyon -- we spent the day at Cremieu and loved it. Highly recommended, and I hope we have the opportunity to go back!

If you are looking for a unique apartment location, this is definitely the place to go. It is right in the beautiful little medieval town of Pèrouges.
As we walked up the little cobbled street to the door, I imagined the footsteps of the multitude of people that have stepped those same steps for centuries ☺️.
Inside, the apartment was lovely, beautifully decorated with everything you needed, a coffee maker was a great plus and we'd been left the essentials.
The shower was excellent, and the bed was really comfortable, and the pillows were nice, the walls were so thick too, it just was lovely. Of an evening it was so peaceful.
It was a nice experience to be able to walk around a medieval city without lots of people being there, and it is small, so easily walked around. We met a few cats along the way and all were very friendly, perfect for cat lovers like us.
The distant view from the terrace was so tranquil, especially as it faces east, so we were able to enjoy the early morning sun for our breakfast. We also had a visit from two beautiful cats, so we spent some time playing with them.
Sophie had made this place very nice, the only thing extra that would improve it would be a couple of little chairs and a small table inside the apartment for when it's too cold for the terrace, or the mosquitos are out, but that's just a wish list item, it doesn't spoil the stay without them.
There is even a mosquito net on the window so that you can keep it open, that is a nice idea. Thank you Sophie for such a lovely stay 😍.

The property was comfortable and close to Perouges which was our destination to visit. The host was very friendly and came to meet us after we could not find the property.
