Fantastic host, fantastic apartment, great location! We were made very welcome and even encouraged to eat any of the food that was in the fridge and cupboards. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even a first aid kit in the bathroom. Lots of big towels, soap, shampoo and shower gel. There was nothing we needed that was not there except perhaps an electric kettle.

Pre visit communication was exceptional and in English. Our welcome and explanation was exceptionally friendly and comprehensive. The location was idyllic for chilling out but possibly not for doing and seeing new things and places. The house was really cosy with lots of really personal touches. The food and drink was exceptionally generous and well presented. Our hosts could not have been more friendly.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Terrific location - quiet with mountain views. Individual lodges, heated by woodburning stove. Outstanding fixed price evening meal - I had starter of leeks baked with cheese and ham in sauce. Much tastier than the one I had in the Parador at Mérida! Then beautiful baked bake plus pud, wine or beer and coffee for about 20 euros. Lots of parking, spacious public rooms and outdoor seating too - both at each lodge and by the restaurant.
