This was one of the most special experiences on our Camino journey. We took the slower alternative route that spoke of true solitude and found VIA AVIS at the end of a hot day. It was an absolute solace and sanctuary and the hosts were heartfelt in their care. They made sure we lacked nothing and then I have not even spoken about the beautiful decor and wonderful spaces. It is absolutely worth it.

Easy access, good communication with host. Host very helpful and quick to respond. Suite was super clean, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful view of the castle and cathedral, particularly at night. Host left cake, coffee and fresh oranges for our stay. Loved our stay.

The breakfast was simple but good, the location was a one night stopover en-route from Porto To Potes so ideal. The property had been renovated recently and everything was clean, tidy and functional.
