Villa is nicely located in mountains. You will have a nice sea view right from your dinning table. There is nice territory around villa so kids can run a bit chasing lizards. Adults can find a nice spot for reading and having a glass of wine while enjoying awesome view. Good thing for us (we don't like hot temperatures) was comfort temperature that is 5-7 degrees lower then temperature by the beach. It takes about 25 minutes to get to beach by car. Closest supermarket is about 15 minutes walk from villa. But you have to climb quite a steep hill to get there. General feeling was like I had when I was visiting my grandparents in country house when I was a kid: Everything is nice and cozy although everything is a bit "countryhouse-styled" e.g. old TV that has no HDMI input. As my kids got cold for several days we had to stay home for a while. But I don't feel that I lost that time as we could always find cozy place to read and think in quiet, make BBQ or fire nice fireplace. There is a washing machine and full set of kitchen equipment in the villa. One more thing worth mentioning: You should not rely on local WIFI. It works but it is super-slow. So forget of Netflix and YouTube for a while. On the other hand mobile internet is more or less stable around.

Quiet getaway from the South to enjoy nature and the cooler temperatures. As we live in Tenerife, we wanted a mini holiday and this place was perfect for that. The house is cosy, a traditional property upgraded by modern interiors = perfect combination. From the bedroom on the mezzanine floor you can watch the stars while lying in bed (if the sky is clear). Obviously it can be a little chilly (if you’re used to warm weather) but there’s a fireplace and blankets available. The patio has a BBQ and there’s a big supermarket only 3 mins walk away. The mattress was really firm, which might be an issue for someone but for us it was perfection.
