This is a beautiful boutique hotel! The room we stayed in was at level -1, but it had a big terrace with fantastic views over the vineyards and mountains beyond. The room was really spacious with a comfy super kingsize bed. Breakfast was a continental buffet style, with plenty of choice ..... really nice! There were plenty of areas in the hotel where you could relax, and a nice touch was the honesty bar. There is no car parking at the hotel. However, there is ample free parking throughout the village within 2 minutes walk.
The location is great, the hotel being located in a small village in the heart of the wine region, about 10 minutes drive from Haro, where the large wineries are located ......although there are numerous small and large independent wineries all over. There is a lovely village square and the are several good bars and restaurants in the village.
I never realised what a beautiful region Rioja is. If you walk up to the top of the village there are 360 degrees of stunning views.
I will definitely return to Rioja for a longer stay and will look no further than the Hotel Boutique Casona del Boticario for my stay!

The apartment was in a great location and we got free parking just the other side of the church. Only a couple of minutes walk to the square and about 15-20 minute pleasant walk to the wineries. The apartment was immaculately clean and easy to access with 2 lovely balcony windows in the main sitting area. Kitchenette had everything we needed for a short break too. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was really good, coffee was excellent. Location was really good and closeenough to Haro to allow us the chance to try a few of he bodegas there. The owners even arranged transport to Haro for us, really helped us a lot
