We got a free pass up the mountain and because of our big dog and the fact there wasn't a hope he would fit on the bus, I would like to Thank the owner big time for this as we had fantastic day and without the pass wouldnt have been able to get up there, (the road is closed to all traffic except tourist buses in the summer)we also made a booking with Restaurante Merendero de los Lagosand and enjoyed the steaks and sidra, I would like to a make a point about this restaurant, the food is exceptional, highly recommended to eat here

One night stop there during cycling trip. It was rather cold but that's obviously not anyone's fault. Pleasant & helpful stuff. Fulfilling breakfast and good location on the way. Town itself is rather quiet and only one restaurant was open, be carefull

Lovely quiet location with wonderful views. Being able to light a fire when we got back in the evening was great (and the wood was provided). Francisco was quick to respond to any questions via WhatsApp - and a great bonus for us was he spoke English. He also provided helpful suggestions on places to go.
