(We can’t find pictures of Jara on Booking.com, though it’s on other sites.) We can’t comment about La Albergueria but enjoyed the rural location of Jara

The place is quite wonderful and a great place to stay. The quirky stone roundhouse are rustic and very well designed. I would have given a score of 10 if not for the points below. I would recommend this place as it is unique and only half an hour drive to Guadalope.

From the delightful welcome to the sad farewell, our stay in Berzocana was a true pleasure. It is a quiet village inn with an excellent restaurant run by charming people who moved heaven and earth to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was fine and the dinner truly good. A 'super-slick' operation it isn't, but that wasn't what we wanted or expected. I often doubt reviews that say 'we will be back', but in this case we will definitely be back!

The house and property are exceptionally clean. Cielo Abierto is a quiet and relaxed environment with great walks. There are great hikes from the property and in the local area. The hosts are always available to recommend walks and answer questions.
