We got a free pass up the mountain and because of our big dog and the fact there wasn't a hope he would fit on the bus, I would like to Thank the owner big time for this as we had fantastic day and without the pass wouldnt have been able to get up there, (the road is closed to all traffic except tourist buses in the summer)we also made a booking with Restaurante Merendero de los Lagosand and enjoyed the steaks and sidra, I would like to a make a point about this restaurant, the food is exceptional, highly recommended to eat here

One night stop there during cycling trip. It was rather cold but that's obviously not anyone's fault. Pleasant & helpful stuff. Fulfilling breakfast and good location on the way. Town itself is rather quiet and only one restaurant was open, be carefull

The hotel is in a beautiful location at the foot of the Picos mountains amidst farmland where traditional methods are still used and you can hear the music of the cows' bells as they graze the lush pasture. There is a cheese maker a short walk away where you can look at the dairy and buy their cheeses.. The bedroom was spacious and spotless. The evening meal included regional dishes. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English to get by. A beer in the evening on the veranda, overlooking the hills, was a highlight.
Fantastic Location, view from the property, near to town and other attractions (Picos de Europa & Llanes), friendly staff and no fuss about early check-in (if the room is ready, our was)
Location is remote, ideal to sightsee around the "Picos de Europa" There are several trails to walk around, and a beautiful spot 15min walk away to watch the sunset in the mountains. We had dinner there, local cuisine made perfectly, tasty and affordable. Breakfast was plentyfull also. Nice affordable place to have a taste of the mountains.
Great location to explore Picos da Europa, in between 2 nice villages - Cangas de Onis and Arenas de Cabrales. It also works very well to explore the mountains around. Views are nice and rooms are large. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
