The Belén hostel belongs to the Virgen de Belén Neighborhood Association, made up of volunteers and members, it is a non-profit association that only aims to revitalize and publicize a beautiful rural mountain area among other activities. The fee only seeks to cover the maintenance costs of the facilities.

In the middle of nowhere, and only accessible by car, so not many people go there. Even during high season (it was only the two of us in a room of 6 people). The kitchen was nice.

What a great experience for our little city girls (2+3.5yrs)...collecting eggs, milking goats, feeding the kids, riding a horse etc The host family are super helpful (son, Beni speaks English) and gave good advice for some hikes in the area On and the dinners were lovely.
