Everything! Great location, good communication with host, so clean and fresh . I loved the large soft towels and decent blow dryer which is a rare in hotels/apt! The bed was super comfy so enjoyed great sleeps !

Amets House is the perfect place to stay if you want a ‘home-from-home’ experience! Our host was terrific and couldn’t be more helpful, advising us on all the best places to explore, eat and experience during our stay in Bilbao. The accommodation is spacious and very clean with fine attention to detail for a very comfortable stay. We had a magnificent time and take back many fond memories of our stay at Amets House.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
We have stayed here for a budget overnight stay to visit Bilbao. Before checking in I had some concerns but I believe the check-in staff at night fixed us a good room. The staff was very caring, practical and informative. The corridors had some smell however our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We did not had any issues with the road noise. Free parking adds value to this stay.
I rated location as perfect as this city was a spot for a one-night stay during our long journey by car. The hotel has a free parking around, but you should arrive earlier in the evening to get the place.
The rooms were budget, but clean and comfy. I really liked the people on the reception and a traditional breakfast, which also starts early at 6:30 (we needed to continue our ride early in the morning)
Free parking and friendly reception staff.
Budget is a good description. 10 minute walk to local bars or to the train station to get you into Bilbao city which is worth a visit.
Good budget hotel, the most affordable within a large area. Clean and well kept, though a little outdated in some respects. Decent breakfast, kind and helpful staff.
Very good for an overnight stop on the way to catch the ferry at Bilbao. Excellent location - was comfortable and inexpensive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again.
It's an Ibis Budget, it serves the needs for an odd night, it's cheap and cheerful.
The staff are always excellent in these hotels
The breakfast was great value for money
What can I say? It is what it purports to be, a budget hotel. Very basic but served the purpose of a bed for the night after having just got off the Ferry.
Great location and only a 6 minute walk across the footbridge to town where there are plenty of restaurants.
