We were late for check in due to the road accident but the keycard was waiting for us. Also much appreciated that dogs could stay with us in the comfortable room. I don't usually write reviews, but Dorothea and Hans' place simply deserves it. Absolutely incredible flat, even though it looks wonderful on the pictures already, you really get this "wow" effect the moment the moment you enter it. We've stayed there for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. Flat is equipped with pretty much everything you need, from cooking appliances, to 2 desks that are perfect for remote working (internet is already sufficient for it and Hans also told me he's working on getting an optic fiber connection there soon), to an amazing terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset with an outstanding view. Dorothea and Hans are just wonderful people too, very helpful and willing to share any tips and recommendations of the area. There's literally nothing I can complain about our stay there, I just wish we could have stayed longer!

The hotel localized in the center of a very quiet little town with very characteristic architecture. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, informed us of a back exit/entrance (useful for dog owners, like us, who need to take the dog out late in the evening or early in the morning). The room was unbelievably quiet, comfortable and spotless clean. The hotel itself was beautiful, very spacious, elegant, a pleasant place to be. Fast check-out was definitely a plus.

Always where we stay in Hersbruck! The breakfast buffet is excellent on the weekends but gets smaller as the week goes on. This is not a fried eggs and hash browns place. It's wurst, ham, cheeses, rolls/breads/cakes, fruit and muesli with coffee, tea, juices, etc. The restaurant is much improved, now managed by the owners' son, and deserves a visit. Always some wild game on the menu. Vegetarian too, if you like. Make a reservation! A bit pricey but worth it anyway. Breakfast included.
