I spend quite a bit of time in German hotels throughout the 1980's and early 1990's. This is one of the few hotels that remind me of the classic hotels of that era: marble stairs with wrought iron rails; formal breakfast room; and real cherry wood room furniture. In other hotels of the same era, remodels have removed much of this classic furniture and replaced it with less expensive modular furniture suites. Location is great: 1 stop from Mainz Roman Theatre stop which is on edge of town center. Also, just a few stops west of Frankfurt Airport. Will be a place to stay next time I fly in or out of Frankfurt.

I forgot to look online for the instructions, but they explained it perfectly when I sent a message. We LOVED having a grocery store in the parking lot next to us and a pharmacy below us. We had a washing machine and all the amenities one could want as well as an elevator, which made it extra convenient for my husband who has a hard time walking stairs. The balcony was extra special and the location to great restaurants that were accessible by walking once we found the "shortcut." The train station was about a mile away AND we got to enjoy a wine festival in Mainz! We loved everything about this place and WILL be back!!

The location and cleanliness was perfect! The Wifi was flawless! The bathroom had great water pressure! The couch and bed were comfortable and it felt spacious.
