The owners mother prepares breakfast each day and she is just so friendly. The breakfast she prepared was different each day and it was delicious each time. The rooms have great view. They give you some tour recommendations. Shower was great.

The location was excellent. Close to everything in town. The property is beautiful and well-designed. Our cabin felt very private. We loved the hiking trails on the property and saw some spectacular birds and other wildlife.

We had the room with the glass front on the first floor. From there you have a great view of the cloud forest and are right in the middle of it at the same time. The forest extends right up to the room, so we were able to observe animals directly from the room or balcony. The host was very friendly and told us a lot about the region. He also helped us with various bookings, which was really helpful. For breakfast, you could choose between three options, which were good and plentiful. From the breaktfast area we also had a direct view on the cloud forest and could watch the birds while having breakfast. The accommodation is about a 5-minute walk from the centre of St. Elena, so it is also well located. We enjoyed our stay there very much and can definitely recommend to stay there.

I loved my stay there! It was amazing. It rained a lot and it's quite a walk uphill to the village but I managed to find less rainy moments to walk.
The staff is super nice and I was really happy to see that we are allowed to use the kitchen!

When we didn't find the place someone was sent to pick us up. And they gave us a bigger room than the one we originally booked.

Casa Rayo de Luna is a few minutes from the town which means it’s really peaceful and quiet. The room was very comfortable and guests are able to access a little room which has tea and coffee making facilities and a large fridge to store things if you wish. We preferred this as fridges can be noisy in the room that you sleep in. Jose was really friendly, knowledgable and helpful with information about the area. There are lots of birds which frequent the gorgeous garden at the property.
