The host also has a Tshibo coffee machine with assortment of capsules. It was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The apartment in the house has 2 stories, upstairs the bedroom and bathroom, and downstairs for relaxing. The garden is stunning with many roses and plants and many other garden decorations. It is a relaxing experience to sit in the garden and enjoy the view. It is very obvious that the host enjoys preparing this location for rent. In addition, it is located on a hilltop, where you can go take leisurely walks or go hiking. With a short car ride you can go to the city of Thun which is worth visiting.

The building is old but the apartments are newly renovated and well equipped. Check in is flexible , bed is comfort and shower is powerful enough. Location is not bad, easy to connect to several cities like Bern and Interlaken. Ten miniutes on foot to the train station and local supermarket. The building is nearby the main road that’s why you can hear the busy traffic from early morning. Maybe not an ideal place for light sleepers. There is room for improvement, such as a lack of amenities and wrinkled bedsheets , but still I was going to rate it 8 if we did not have the seriouse cleanness problem: a rat in the bedroom.
