Breakfast was great and our host accomodated our schedule very graciously. Her home made blueberry muffins were delicious. Best coffee on our trip by far.

Great atmosphere, great communal spaces for eating, cooking, sitting or playing pool. Good bathrooms - never had to wait and great to have a full bathroom in each, not a shower room with cubicles. Room was small but comfortable. Place was quiet but friendly. Location was great for walking, biking, Comox etc.
The suite was indeed immaculately clean. It was perfect for our family. A great quiet location located near parks and trails. It was very well thought out and planned with little details, for instance, having maps, tea, and growlers available to fill at the local brewery.
Gorgeous hostel, very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Cute little guest garden where we sat and listened to a concert being hosted next door. Great community. Made me want to move in! I was really sad I only booked one night. Lots of interesting things to do around the place, amazing local trails, restaurants and a local museum. Highly recommend a visit to Cumberland and this hostel, it was one of my trip highlights.
Excellent location for mountain biking- never had to get in the car for the 4 days we were there. Large kitchen and large dining area- great to seat all 10 of us at dinner.
The hostel was in a central location-handy for both shops and trailheads. It was tastefully decorated and furnished. It was spacious with plenty of good cooking and storage facilities.
The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms fresh and airy. We enjoyed the pool table and dart board.
