We came in the evening by car and we liked the self-check-in. We also liked the free and quite spacious parking. There is no elevator but the stairs to the first floor are very large and easy to climb. At our request (thru SMS), we received a room away from traffic noise (but close to the railway station nearby -electrical car, quite quiet). The room is very clean, large and great for two people. King size bed, firm mattress, table with banquets, a small desk, TV and wardrobe but no refrigerator. The shower is excellent, with good pressure water and fast warming. There is a daily receptionist and housekeeping in the morning. Also, we met long-term guests that there are happy to share their experience at the hotel. Close nearby there is a Spar supermarket that closes quite early, at 19.30. For people that like long walks or bicycling, like us, this place is the perfect location for going to Salzburg. Just follow the Alterbach River bicycle path (you'll find it at the bridge next to Spar) and then take the Salzbach River alley towards the city. Or get a 4 euro all-day ticket and use the#6 bus in front of the hotel. The staff is wonderful and willing to help if you have a problem. Well worth the money value!
