Lovely apartment, beautifully decorated, in a quiet rural place surrounded by a nice garden, parking available, including storage for bikes. The owner and her sisters are very pleasant and fun, communication before arrival was efficient and smooth. Bike routes all around, the Danube river {and the famous bike route along it} is about 1,5 km from the place, accessible by bikes through rural roads. The famous panoramic Danube meander {Schlogener Schlinge} is about 15 min by car, other wonderful tourist attractions near by... All was just perfect, including the weather.
Aschach an der Donau (Near Haizing)

Absolutely amazing magical place to stay. Old country residence, very clean and comfortable rooms. Very helpful friendly woman running the hotel. Close to town - you need to find the shortcut across the railway track! Good breakfast. Secure bicycle storage. If you stay in Aschach you must stay here. Brilliant.

The hotel is situated beautifully on the boards of the Donau. The view from our room was exceptional. The room was spacious although perhaps a bit old-fashioned. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant, which is highly recommended. The staff was very friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was fine with sufficient choice.

Beautiful location, large room with a great view of the Danube, and an excellent dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, with friendly and efficient service. This was one of the best places I stayed at during my two-week hiking trip - I hope to come back again one day.
