This was literally a last minute booking made that same morning after another accommodation fell through and we were so lucky to have found such a wonderful place. Ok so approaching the village my partner was a little sceptical as the tarmac road from Macedonia gave way to rubble on the Albanian side and the village was basically one big work site. However I trusted in my decision and was so glad I did. We couldn't believe our eyes when just behind all the dust from the workmen there was this amazing, quaint, oh so pretty little village centre with our property at the top of it! The property itself was just beautiful - seriously I would wish my own house could be so lovely. It was clean, modern but with rustic details, had great amenities, everything new. And the view from the huge window was wow! The owners were super friendly, even after they had to come rescue us from a village bar after our phone data stopped working. We're just sorry to the guys at the village bar who helped us contact the owners for not going back to sample their fish, as we ran out of time, but we hope to return soon and thank you again for helping us. And the kids and mother living downstairs were so friendly too - thank you again for my lovely roses and the lesson to my partner to not only go for the most beautiful looking but the sweetest smelling too! As for the village work site? In just 2 days they had practically tarmac'd an entire dust road - it was almost unrecognisable when we left. I guarantee that by next summer the village and it's adjoining national park will really be something to look at! And we hope to return to see its progress :-)

The apartment is big spacious and immaculate, very nicely decorated. Has very good A/C a small kitchen for preparing light snacks and meals. Large terrace for eating out side or enjoying a nice quiet relax. The bed is so comfortable and the water features around the house are lovely. Close to a beautiful little square with shops and restaurants, and the lake front about a 5 minute walk. The stay was amazing we extended our stay it was that good and would have done again but the apartment was booked.The host family are lovely people and Bona gave us fresh veg from her garden for salads it was so good. Thank you for a great stay.

Unique experience with glass floor. The spring water is drinking quality and can be accessed right in front of the apartment. The hosts are super friendly and warm-hearted. To Sveti Naum it’s only a five minute drive, where we recommend to go for swimming at the moment, as the beachfront of the village (which is actually the prettiest we have seen in all Albania) is under construction to feature a nice promenade in the future.
