Location is just outstanding, and the accomodation is wonderful, staff are great - special mention to Hendrick for the interesting game drives. Definitely want to go back!

We had gorgeous game drives with the best guide - Alex - who was so friendly & incredibly knowledgeable. Cannot recommend this place enough!

It truly is an amazing place and Suzette and Tim are super friendly hosts who gave us a warm welcome. It’s pure luxury in a unique game reserve. We had wonderful game drives with Tim. Who knows so much of the animals and their ways.

The accommodation offers a chalet and double rooms with views. What a lovely and peaceful place! Nice View! If we had known before we would have stayed longer! Thank to Karen and her family for the excellent care! Fantastic food and low priced drinks in the fridge. Andrew the son showed us around the game farm and gave us a lot of information about life and work and animals here. And we got a fine recommendation to a Big 5 game park at Somkhanda Lodge.

The Prawn Hatchery Pty Ltd on Amatikulu is situated in a rural area on the banks of a lagoon adjacent to the Amatikulu Nature Reserve. This old prawn farm features rustic style self catering accommodation. The staff were so jacked up and friendly and helpful! The Aircon was a life-saver! The facilities were so organised and functional! The property, views and scenery was breath-taking!
