We loved hiking to the waterfall. The pool area is great, and the my son even caught two fish in the dam.

The cottage had everything we needed and more - very well equipped kitchen, plus a few extras like a battery light to get through the inevitable loadshedding. Comfy bed, a lovely balcony, spacious lounge area, and being surrounded by nature.

Guests can relax in this tranquil setting, or explore the surrounding area which includes attractions such as the Cango Wildlife Ranch and the Ostrich Show Farm. The George Airport is 89 km away. The place was amazing. Room was spacious and filled with thoughtful amenities. Food was incredible. Wish we'd stayed longer.

Room service and a shuttle service are also available on request. Set 6.5 km from Oudtshoorn, Buffelsdrift Game Lodge is located just off Route 62. There is free parking on site and a shuttle is available on request from George Airport, 71 km away. Fabulous tents so well equipped and great to be on edge of dam, although very noisy with birds. Great food and staff. Good to see the wildlife conservation, went to see lions being fed
