I’ve never felt so happy as we walked in and saw all the little touches in the cottage. the private pool was lovely I just wish we had been in summer so we could have enjoyed it more. it’s located in a very central area and you can walk to restaurants from there. the garden around the cottage was beautiful! all very quaint and pretty. will definitely be back.

Boschenmeer Golf Course is 28 km from the lodge, while Stellenbosch University is 30 km from the property. The nearest airport is Cape Town International, 62 km from La Clé Lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Stole our hearts after several pit stops around the Cape. It’s one of the most beautiful properties we’ve stayed in. The staff is very friendly and attentive, a lot of activities on site but also a perfect place to relax and unwind. We can’t wait to be back!

Each of the self-catering cottages at Bergsicht Country Farm Cottages is air-conditioned and offer open-plan, well-equipped kitchens with dining areas. Each cottage has an indoor fireplace and a private patio with mountain views and BBQ facilities. All cottages have an outdoor wood-fire heated hot tub, while the other has an unheated plunge pool. Very nice cozy cottage, also very clean and safe. The highlight ist hottub with the amazing view.

The tents offer a spacious open plan lounge area, a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining area. There are 2 bedrooms. The tents are equipped with air conditioning, a fire place and a private bathroom with a hot shower cabin, wash basin and flushing toilet. You can't beat this location! The views are amazing. We loved hiking to the waterfall. The pool area is great, and the my son even caught two fish in the dam.

A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also offered, as well as a kettle. At the chalet complex, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. Stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains! The cottage had everything we needed and more - very well equipped kitchen, plus a few extras like a battery light to get through the inevitable loadshedding. Comfy bed, a lovely balcony, spacious lounge area, and being surrounded by nature.

The cozy and well-appointed units each have a private entrance and feature a covered verandah with BBQ facilities and views of the valley. Each chalet has a living area, an indoor fireplace, air conditioning satellite TV and a fully equipped kitchen. Fantastic views from the cottages above the farm house over the whole farm and valley. Lovely host, gave us great hints about where to eat out or leisure activities. Great cottages, very clean and well equipped. Looooved stargazing at night when it was nearly totally dark.

Accommodation consists of 10 unique man-made cave-like suites that were constructed to integrate with the natural Sandstone formations, and 5 spacious thatched huts, decorated in warm tones. Each air-conditioned unit comes with a seating area and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. I liked everything from the start to the end. The hospitality and welcoming were amazing.
