Location is something special, in a real forest, among trees and birds of any kinds. It’s really a bit magic. Owners very friendly. Got some fresh brewed coffee in the morning which was available in the house.

Boasting a shared lounge, Waipi'o Lodge is situated in Kukuihaele in the Hawaii Island region, 36 km from Waimea Park. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and private check-in and check-out for guests. Very close to the Waipio Valley lookout. It's convenient for people who want to hike down to the valley. I also enjoyed hunting for macadamia nuts in the backyard. The owner, Greg, provides us with everything we need. The bathroom is shared, but everything is clean and organized.

Located at the base of Mauna Kea Volcano, this upcountry Waimea lodge offers cable TV with work desk and fans (available upon request) . Hapuna Beach is 15 minutes’ drive away.
An en suite bathroom is provided in each room at CASTLE Waimea Country Lodge. A work desk and fan are also included.
The office closed on 8:00pm but offered an easy late check-in option which was a locker box with a code. The same if you check out early. Very convenient! There is also a restaurant looks good beside the lodge.

On the plus side, definitely the proximity to the Honolulu airport and the free shuttle to and from the airport. Nor can one complain about cleanliness. Overall - the hotel is exactly what you would expect from it.

shuttle bus to the airport was good. but from the airport, it was not visible so i paid $20 to the taxi
We loved the free airport shuttle, the drivers were friendly and helpful. There’s a courtesy phone beside baggage claim 24 where you can call the hotel and the shuttle will be with you in a few minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls is simply enchanting! From the super friendly staff to the delicious coffee served by Hut every morning, feels special. Waking up to the waterfall's song is like a hug from nature. If you want a getaway that's pure magic, this place is it.

Location is truly amazing, in the middle of the forest. Wonderful cabin, really well equipped and everything you need. Very helpful hosts who provided all the info you needed. Great base for exploring Kilauea volcano park.
Fantastic location, could not fault it. Right across from Magic Sands Beach and the Kona shuttle which is a 10 min free trip into Kona. Beds were super comfy and 2 bathrooms and washing facilities made were great. Kitchen was stocked with amenities well and plenty of beach equipment for a day at the beach. Came with a car park that was super handy. Right on Alli’i Dr but couldn’t hear any noise from the road. Also had a massage chair! Sunsets are perfect as well.
Free shuttle from airport. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food options within 5 minutes walk. Great value for a stay the night before a flight.
This was a comfortable apartment with well set up kitchen. Pool was nice at sunset. Resort did have an odd ski chalet in summer feel to it (even though it was winter and obviously never used for skiing)
