Secondly, I appreciate the property manager for answering the phone for us when we were trying to find the location when we first got here. I was frustrated and he assured that he would come get us from wherever we were to make sure we made it to the property ok. The room was very clean and lovely. We stayed in the beach front villa. It was beautiful night and day. As an American (because you know we love our A/C), I was very happy about the cold A/C they had in the room. It was never hot and this was appreciated as Zanzibar is hot and humid. We had a hiccup in regards to the breakfast in the room/at the pool. I originally planned to have it on a specific day but it did not show up on that day. I spoke with the staff and they served it to us the next morning. We also had a late check out and i was very thankful they let us stay in the room past check out time. We were able to enjoy our in-room breakfast because of this and did not feel rushed at all. Shower great. Bed great. Very spacious room. The amenities in the room were also nice. I read online somewhere that the hotels typically try to keep the beach locals away from the property to the best of their ability. I will say, be prepared to constantly be sold to when trying to relax on the property. All day long , there was constantly “beach boys” trying to sell you stuff. I appreciate the security guard on the beach keeping the other tourist away from our beach swings. So many of them walked up and he kindly asked them to leave. This was nice because I feel like there would have been a line had he not been there to do this. It made us feel special. They arranged an airport drop off for us and got us on our way in time.

Most rooms feature sea views and each unit is equipped with air-conditioning, a flat screen TV and a tea-and-coffee making facility. While some rooms are fitted with bath or an outdoor shower on the terrace or garden, all rooms have a private bathroom with extras such as a hairdryer and free toiletries. Truly beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful and welcoming staff. Comfortable beds, delicious food, very clean with everything you need to enjoy what is truly a slice of heaven.

The staff is wonderful and kind, the restaurant great, and the pole pole island vibe lived to perfection. I would always come back!

It’s right next to the main road going to Paje and 5-10 minutes walk away to the ocean. The building is in Jambiani village which is famous for its sweet, hospitable locals, and great beaches! Supermarkets and shops are all nearby. Check in: Thomas the owner who oversees things personally, was kind enough to arrange for an early check in despite the short notice. He’s easygoing and friendly to deal with. Easy and straightforward process. They accept cards without giving you the looks (many properties in Jambiani don’t happily accept cards). You can use Apple Pay or Samsung Pay. The place itself: this is a brand new building with great finishing. The owner takes pride in his trees and the villa is surrounded by greenery inside it. There’s a pool, kitchen with a big new fridge for guests to store food, shower facilities next to the pool. There’s also a terrace upstairs with huge area for people who wanna have some privacy or do calls or just relax. It offers a nice 360 view of the village on all sides. The rooms: the rooms are quite modern and they are practically designed and equipped with everything you want. The ac was working perfectly and it was a relief in hot afternoons and nights (many properties don’t have ac or it doesn’t work). Really comfy beds (probably the best bed and mattresses I slept on in Zanzibar), a safe which is quite handy, a little desk if you have work, big washroom with great water pressure, everything in the room was brand new and working fine. The internet: I had couple of meetings and was suffering from the poor internet in other proper I. The wifi really saved me. The experience: the owner who was also staying at the property is warm and makes sure to check in on you and see if you need anything (the stay itself, directions, restaurant recommendations, etc.

This place exceeded our expectations. Because they have only 3 rooms, this place is really calm and one can relax. We chose this lodge because of the kitchen and it was the best decision ever. It has everything needed to cook and we could prepare our meals during our stay. It felt like our home. We were also lucky as we were alone when we arrived and we were upgraded to the bigger room. It is absolutely luxurious. The lodge itself is beautiful and really good decorated. Moses, Osman and the rest of staff were really nice and helpful at all times. The breakfast is excepcional. Osman prepares the best omelette with veggies and crepes with chocolate. We loved our fruit salad as well. We were looking forward to this every morning! The lodge is located in the village, a couple of meters from the beach, and you can meet all locals here, they are all really welcoming. We would love to come back and we recommend this lodge to anyone that wants a private place in one of the most beautiful places in Zanzibar.

The location is awesome and convenient, as it is in the village but still close to the bars, restaurants and beach (around 10 minutes walking to the beach). The lodge is cute and beautiful, very well decorated and it has a warm ambiance; rooms are big and comfortable. Ahmed is a great host, friendly, attentive and always available to help! The breakfast is huge and really delicious!!

Some units include a balcony and/or a patio with sea views. The place is a paradise! So many plants and sooo quiet so we spent our first 4 nights there after the trip. It is really close to a nice beach and the locals are playing football and swimm at the evening. Food was tasty with pole pole style (no rush). They make a fire a the evening so you can sit by the fire or pool and chill.. lodge with the balcony was really special. No windows just nets so you can hear the neture sounds at the night. Coming from big city to such a nice natural place was something special.
