Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and accessed by the Madre de Dios riverboat from Puerto Maldonado port, Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is located in Puerto Maldonado. The hotel is very well run and beautiful. I know it’s not truly in the real jungle but it gave us a good taste of it with a nice level of comfort. They planned the excursions for us and timed it very well. We didn’t feel rush or exhausted. All the guides were very knowledgeable and spotted many wildlife during our excursions. We saw capybaras, caymans, river otters, many types of birds and red howler monkeys!! The food was also amazing, three courses every meal! Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and professionally! It was an amazing experience!

With garden views, Sotupa Eco Lodge is situated in Puerto Maldonado and has a restaurant, a concierge service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. We had the most amazing time at Sotupa eco lodge. From our arrival we were greeted by George, the manager, with fresh passion fruit juice and every day we enjoyed absolutely delicious local dishes and beverages, all ingredients locally sourced. The activities and excursions were incredible and Ciro, our guide so knowledgeable. We got to explore both the river and the surrounding forrest, both of which we could also see from our tranquil balcony. We learned to weave hats and baskets with palm leaves from Allen and lounged in the pool and on the deck. By our departure the staff had begun to feel like family and if we are so lucky, we will definitely return someday.

With river views, Sunrise of Tambopata is located in Puerto Maldonado and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar and garden. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. It was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights on the Rio. Manuel and his family were fantastic and very helpful. Having a home-cooked supper each night was fantastic. Great view and a great place to get away from it all.

Providing a restaurant, Casa Amazonas provides accommodation in Puerto Maldonado. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with garden views. There is nothing you won’t love about this place. It’s in the middle of the jungle so you will be able to enjoy the sounds of the birds, monkeys and other animals. Vanessa (the owner) really takes care of you! The food is great and very healthy. You will be able to taste new fruits, vegan dishes and wonderful desert. Even if you are not a yoga person, you should really try a yoga lesson with Vanessa, especially recreational yoga. It’s a must! Now there is also a small pool so you will be able to enjoy the place even more!

Offering garden views, Hacienda Herrera Tambopata in Puerto Maldonado provides accommodation, a garden and a terrace. very friendly staff. food is nice. room is overall clean and tidy for a tropical experience.

Offering a garden, Ecoamazonia Lodge offers accommodation in Puerto Maldonado Jungle, in Peru. All meals are included in rates. All units include a seating area. We enjoyed the beautiful lodge and delicious food. Beds were comfortable and we were grateful that the entire cabin was screened in (vs some lodges that only provide mosquito netting around the beds). This meant we could enjoy the room, take a shower, etc, without fear of becoming a meal for the bugs.

Located only 3.5 hours from Puerto Maldonado city. (One hour by bus and 2.5 hrs by boat) This lodge is the only one inside the National Reserve of Tambopata. Free WiFi is featured. It was by far one of the best Trips we ever made. The whole experience , the staff and the biologists did a great Job to give the best experience someone could get. We will surely come Back. Located in the heart of the Tambopata Candamo National Reserve, Wasai Tambopata Lodge offers its guests Amazon Expeditions and free WiFi access. Fishing trips can also be arranged in the area. Wasai Lodge completely exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff were so kind and friendly, the rooms were fabulous right on the river with very comfortable beds. Food was amazing with a huge amount of variety. Our guide, Efrain, was so knowledgeable, engaging, funny and made our trip even more fantastic - he was born to be an Amazon tour guide!! Clem who runs the lodge was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer questions. We felt very safe during our stay. This is an amazing lodge and would highly recommend it!

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, La Habana Conservation Area offers accommodation with a balcony. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. This is a perfect rainforest oasis! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make us comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the pool is a great feature. The bed was comfy and the area super peaceful. The ideal place to relax. In addition, they have a baby monkey they rescued who is amazing! So playful and friendly - an unexpected highlight!
