I honestly feel so lucky that I decided to stay at this place. The room is huge with a breathtaking view for sunset and sunrise. It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you. Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism. If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation. Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience. Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru ligger i Puno og tilbyder indkvartering med udsigt over søen samt daglig morgenmad. Ejendommen ligger 7 km fra byens centrum og lige foran Titicaca-søen. For det første var Eddy superflink og imødekommende. Han hentede os i båd i udkanten af Puno og sejlede os ud til Aruntawi, der ligger på sin egen flydende siv-ø. “Værelset” var helt fantastisk med uhindret udsigt både mod øst og vest, og tilmed terrasser begge steder. Det var masterbedroom/dagligstue mod vest og et andet soveværelse mod øst. Og så var der et rigtig fint badeværelse. Der var også strøm fra egne solceller med batteri. Måltiderne spiste vi i en selvstændig bygning og de blev tillavet af Eddys mor - der var bare “dagens ret”, men den var super lækker - tre retter til aftensmaden. Det var en helt speciel oplevelse at bo på egen flydende ø, og spændende at høre Eddy fortælle om livet dér.

Uros Samarana Uta Lodge ligger i Puno og har solterrasse og bjergudsigt. Titicaca-søen ligger 7 km fra overnatningsstedet. Everything perfectly arranged from beginning to end. The stay included pick up and drop off at our hotel. Cesar showed us his Uros community and explained about local culture. Great room with private bathroom and terrace. Big comfy bed. Three course lunch and diner, as well as the breakfast where excellent. We highly recommend Uros Samaraña Uta Lodge!

UROS TITIACA Lodge Puno Peru er bygget på de flydende øer Uros, 30 minutters sejlads fra Puno-kysten, og tilbyder indkvartering på verdens højeste sejlbare sø. What a magical place! What Ivan and his family have built is truly amazing: from the comfortable rooms with bio toilets and hot water shower, the super nice sun (and star gazing) decks with hammocks and sunbeds, to the spacious lobby and dining area. On top of that, Ivan and his family are super nice and attentive hosts, and listening to their stories was a true highlight of our stay. Please be aware that they’re literally sharing their home and their resources with you. A home that requires a lot of maintenance and constant care, and resources that are definitely not as easy to acquire as the centralized electricity and drinkable tap water that some of us are accustomed to. That deserves immense respect and consideration. This island is quite far from the more touristy part of the Puno side of the Titicaca lake (about 15 mins by boat). This means that you’ll really get to experience how these communities live, as well as the silence and beautiful nature around you. However, this also means that you have to come very well prepared and dress accordingly, as the boat ride will be chilly - although blankets are provided on the boat to keep you warm - but also breathtakingly beautiful. I have never written such a long review and there’s really so much more I would like to say about this magicalw place but if there is one thing I’d like all future visitors of Uros Titicaca Lodge to know is this: this i s their home, and their way of life, which they hold dear above all else. So be kind. And dress properly ;)

Uros Summa Paqari ligger på den flydende ø Uros i Puno, 7 km fra Titicaca-søen. Puno Havn ligger 5 km derfra. Samtlige værelser har eget badeværelse. The staff are amazing, once in a lifetime experience. we loved every minute of it

Uros Qhantany Lodge ligger på de flydende øer i Uros, 5 km uden for Puno-kysten, og tilbyder indkvartering midt i Titicaca-søen. Puno-kysten ligger 30 minutters sejlads derfra. Our group of 4 loved our stay at this lodge on 10/1/23! It was clean, warm and above all the staff were amazing and treated us like family. The food was delicious and so was the wine and tea. Our bed had plenty of blankets that kept us warm and the water bottles they put in your bed at night just added to the coziness. The sunset was beautiful, at dusk many birds & ducks were flying around that were entertaining to watch & listen to. We were able to take the canoe out ourselves the following morning so I could spread my sons cremains on Lake Titicaca. The morning fog rising from the lake was beautiful and the sun popped out right afterwards. I'd definitely recommend this lodge to everyone!

Titicaca tikary's lodge ligger i Puno, under 5,9 km fra Estadio Enrique Torres Belon og 5,9 km fra Puno Havn. Der er have, terrasse og restaurant. I think it was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in! There are 3 houses on a floating island, owned by a father and a son. They are extremely nice people! The price is ridiculously small for what they offer. The view from the huge windows of the house is amazing, and so is the stay on the floating terrace.
