The lodge offers tours among the archaeological and natural sites of the area Goctalab was our first stay on our northern Peru trip and it was truly an amazing place to jump start our travels. Sirgigo and Gianna are amazing hosts and the property is absolutely beautiful. The room was so comfortable and the view is epic. We ended up eating both dinners at GoctaLab and they were both amazing, with local flavors and excellent portions after long days of hiking!

This Lodge serves a rich and delicious American and regional breakfast. Situated very close to the main tourist sites of Chachapoyas, such as the Gocta Waterfall, the Karajía sarcophagi, Macro, the Leymebamba Museum, and Revash Mausoleums. Communication with Janet was excellent before our arrival and she helped me with a couple of queries about the local sights. The young lady who runs the place was very welcoming and the room was absolutely beautiful in an old style with lots of space. The Wifi was average in the room but worked well on the terrace and the swimming pool was a bonus. The shower was superb!! Breakfast was good and all in all a great experience.

The spacious chalet has 3 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher and an oven. Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the garden views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance.
