Everything you could possibly want is there. From paper towels in the kitchen to wine bottle opener, salt and pepper, olive oil, etc. With underfloor heating, the cabin temp was very easy to adjust up or down. The fridge was a good size about 80 litres, 3 induction stove tops, and they all worked perfectly. There was a toaster and coffee machine jaffle maker as well. On the deck was a hot tub with amazing views and a bbq and outdoor furniture.

With river views, this accommodation features a patio. We loved everything of this good sized cabin away from everything. It was easy to find. The key was easy to get. The host was very communicative. It had all the necessary items in the kitchen for preparing food and enough glasses and plates and utensils for everyone. There was a dishwasher if you needed to use it and I loved that there was also a cupboard of leftover food (no waste!). There were also a few board games that we played (twister, othello, and a puzzle). There was also a TV, but we did not use it. One of the rooms was upstairs, but it was easy to get to and the bed was comfortable. There was heating in the house so you willl not be cold. If you wanted (and if it wasn´t raining) you could even barbeque and sit on the porch (which we did not use because it was raining). If you want a get away, this is the place.

A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. I liked the overall ambiance and location of the hotel. It was a bit pricy but overall a good experience.

And on top of all Borgarnes is a very interesting and beautiful place. though the property is a few kilometers away. its a must visit.

I also woke up in the middle of the night and looked out the window and caught the Aurora borealis directly over the farm. I loved seeing the horses and playing with the dogs. The cabin was warm and cozy with plenty of room. I would definitely stay here again.
